Gerald Anderson: My Grandfather flew out of this base in 1944 to bomb japan during WW2.. He was shot twice in the knees and received two Purple Heart Medals.. Thats why they named this base after our family (joke lang😜😜) .. i dont like War!!. but i have respect for people who fight for their country & family..
