#MirageTeamSaab won 2nd place!! Thank you so much for all your support! My student team mates got 50K each and I will get to donate 50K to the Francis Magalona Foundation. Continuing the legacy of FrancisM and his patriotism, the FMF believes that the Filipino children are our hope for a better future. In Metro Manila there are over 700,000 public high school students. According to statistics only 1 out of 100 of them will go on to college with the hopes of achieving their bigger dreams in the future. For many that do not have the same opportunity, hope for a better life seems to end there. There is no limit to your greatness and to what you can achieve! This is the message that the FMF would like to share with the Filipino youth. We actually refer to it as the Francis Magalona Foundation for real-life education. It's so the youth grow to become responsible and mature citizens of the country. For instance, when we speak of pride, it stands for integrity. Part of this is the practice of taking responsibility for our actions. We have experienced this with our leaders, to this day. We need a better citizenship for a brighter tomorrow. These are real solutions, and it starts with the individual. Unfortunately, school lessons concentrate more on academics and sports, as compared to personal (not personality) development of the child, going into adulthood. There is a norm, and these are called life stages. One has to experience these life stages at certain points in life, otherwise crises arise. Hence, midlife crisis, quarter life crisis, identity crisis, etc. FMF programs empower them with the proper tools to go through the right life stages. Thanks so much, @miragechallenge for a wonderful experience and for the even more amazing prize 😘 :: via saabmagalona Instagram http://ift.tt/1KDYBrS
